Inside the Deere Collectors CenterInside the collectors center. We spent quite a bit of time here. Each tractor is on loan from the owner, and they get new exhibits rotating through periodically.

Family RoomAnother view of our family room. The wet bar is in the back corner. The cedar walls also extend to the lower hallway and bathroom, giving this area a distinct and casual feel as compared to the upstairs.

Pond and GardenA view of the pond from our freshly tilled garden. In 2004 we changed the nozzle on the fountain so it looks a little fuller now.

Green PondHere's a picture from fall 2002. As was said above, the pond had "greened over" with duckweed. Ducks kept residence until it iced over for the winter, though. You can see them to the left if you click the photo00000

The Pond and GeeseYet another view (can you tell we enjoy the pond?) Geese, ducks, and other critters have been frequent visitors. We've had baby geese and their parents come and go. All the wildlife has been fun and fascinating to watch.00000

Front ViewHere is the front of our home as it looked when we bought it. We've made quite a few changes: replacing the front entry and storm doors (the old one was Barbie Pink -- no kidding! If you click on the image to view the large one and zoom in, you can kind of tell), trimming back the overgrown foliage, removing the awnings, and adding green decorative shutters on all four windows. We also replaced the driveway, and widened it to the width of the rock in the picture above. 00000

Side ViewHere is a view from the side of our home. The pond is shown here, and is actually "L" shaped, framing one corner and most of one edge of our yard. The pond has been a wonderful natural element-- ducks, geese, a large turtle, and many other animals have been frequent visitors, and have been fascinating to watch.
