Above the mirror was a very dated flourescent light fixture that wasn't connected to the wall switch -- you had to turn it on via a switch on the side of the light (the wall switch controlled an overhead light).

View down the hall272 viewsWhen we attended here, it just seemed like an old school. Coming back, it seems kind of cool. They've obviously updated it -- new ceilings, doors, etc. But that cool checkerboard floor goes back to when the building was built in the 1930's. Incidentally the old doors that were there when Tim was in school used these huge skeleton keys that each teacher had to carry around...

Overturned Construction Trailer268 viewsOne of two overturned construction trailers at a contstruction site near West Health. (I-494 and Hwy 55). The second one had completely blown apart and landed on a minivan. Several workers were inside and hurt, but fortunately not badly (the driver of the minivan was fine too).

During: Sink/counter area264 viewsAt this stage we've removed all the tile from the room (except for behind the toilet, which we tried to keep in service as long as possible), tore out the old countertop, installed the new sink/countertop, and tiled the entire tub area and back wall. The mirror was removed to protect it during tile removal.
