In the background is the 10th Avenue Bridge, where most of the later pictures in this album were taken (it was closed at the time we took the ones on the Stone Arch Bridge).

Shop Room441 viewsAs noted above, 'shop' was no longer offered at M-T in recent years, so the portions of the room which didn't become the distance learning center kind of reverted to a messy storeroom. When the building was first built in the 1930's, this area, along with the band room coming up, was the school gym and auditorium -- you can still see the Proscenium arch in the upper right of this picture.
