840 Scraper1062 viewsTim was quite enamored with this huge model 840 scraper, mainly because he played with a toy version of it as a kid. It was definitely fun to see the real thing, beautifully restored.

Happy Boy1058 viewsWilliam loves water, and so loves fountains very much.

Sign of the end times??1057 viewsMooCow and Bailey were NOT friends for the first 3 or so years that Bailey came to join our happy home. In the early days, they couldn't even stand to be in the same room: Moo would hiss and, if she could, swat him in the face, which in turn made Bailey avoid her. But as time went on, they grew to tolerate, almost enjoy each other. This picture wasn't posed -- they both decided to share the loveseat together on their own.

Siding Complete1037 viewsThis pictures shows all of the siding installed, including the gables, which was a bit tricky. It also shows one of the corners trimmed out.

Jefferson Memorial1032 viewsThe Jefferson Memorial, aside from being a tribute to a great man, is in one of the most scenic locations of all the memorials. Standing on the steps to the memorial, you can get a great panoramic view (see our Landmarks gallery for an example).

West Side1025 viewsHere's a view of the side of the shed, from inside Bailey's run. Having the shed this close to the fence makes for some tricky work. We had hoped to side the wall before we set it up, but the way the walls are staggered didn't allow for this. At the time this picture was taken, we had one panel of siding to go on the front, and the partial panel left to go on the side you see here, as well as the gable ends, which also need to be framed out so there is a slight overhang.

Indy 500 Museum1020 viewsInside the museum itself was car after car of winners of many of the 500 races. I'm not sure how they have collected all these -- some were replicas but most were the actual vehicles. In this picture, Tim sits in a replica which you were actually allowed to enter.
