Pond Fountain404 viewsHere's a picture of the pond, showing the fountain we added in April 2003. In the background is the back of our house, and also Bailey. The waterfowl actually seem to kind of enjoy the fountain. We changed the nozzle of the fountain in 2004 which gives it a better pattern, and helps keep it from clogging.

Royal Gorge Bridge404 viewsIt's the "Royal Gourge" bridge (see note above for misspelling info). We were too cheap to pay the $20 or so each to go inside the park, so we stood outside and shot a few pictures.

Starting out404 viewsWe started on a rainy Tuesday, fortunately mostly working in the garage. The plans gave a detailed "cut list" and we cut out and labeled all the pieces, as well as rounded over the edges with a router for safety. In this picture, you can see one of the framing pieces after assembly, some of the smaller cut-outs, and the slide. The huge box is the "Turbo Slide", which you'll see coming up.

Bailey Making Friends402 viewsBailey never met a person he didn't love. Even though most faces at the camp were new to him, he became "best friends" with them right away. Here he lays at the feet of Karen and Tim Dallmann.

Outside view.402 viewsHere's an outside view with all doors closed. the 'walk-in' door is a double 'Dutch' door. The 'garage' door was made out of corrugated plastic ('coro') -- more details on that in the coming pictures.
