CDC 3800739 viewsThe Control Data Corp. 3800 was a 1960's-era computer which Cathy's dad was on the development team for. We were looking for this computer in the American History museum with the computers earlier in this page, but were surprised to find it at the Udvar-Hazy center. It was used for satellite tracking by the Air Force.

The plans gave a detailed "cut list" and we cut out and labeled all the pieces, as well as rounded over the edges with a router for safety. In this picture, you can see one of the framing pieces after assembly, some of the smaller cut-outs, and the slide. The huge box is the "Turbo Slide", which you'll see coming up.
