First Model 730 Shipped373 viewsThe plaque reads: "This 730 gas row crop was the first 730 to be shipped from the John Deere Waterloo Works. It was part of a group of three tractors that were shipped to Madison, Wis., on July 31, 1958. The other two tractors were a 530 and a 630, making that grouping the first 30 series tractors to leave the factory. This 730 was found in a barn in northern Illinois in the spring of 2006. A 240-hour restoration was just completed by Jeff McManus. It is proudly owned by the Darick L. Franzen family.
