Old Chain of Rocks Bridge548 viewsWe took the long way out of town to stop and see the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge. This bridge was where Route 66 crossed the Mississippi River, and closed to traffic in 1967. Fortunately, it was recently reopened as a bike/walking trail.
