West Side1134 viewsHere's a view of the side of the shed, from inside Bailey's run. Having the shed this close to the fence makes for some tricky work. We had hoped to side the wall before we set it up, but the way the walls are staggered didn't allow for this. At the time this picture was taken, we had one panel of siding to go on the front, and the partial panel left to go on the side you see here, as well as the gable ends, which also need to be framed out so there is a slight overhang.

Wind Cave1133 viewsOne other attraction we went through was Wind Cave. Unfortunately due to the camera we brought into the cave acting up, we weren't able to get any pictures inside the cave. But we did get this one at the natural entrance. The ranger is demonstrating how the cave got its name -- wind sometimes blows out of the cave, and sometimes blows into the cave.

Turbo Tube Slide1114 viewsThe Tube Slide is the highlight of this playground. As a relatively expensive option, we were going to leave it off, hoping to add it "someday" but then decided that this, unlike several of the other parts of the playground, was something William could use NOW and we'd get more value out of it just by adding it from the start. It assembled together with something like a million bolts, nuts, and washers. Thank goodness for air ratchets... In this picture, we hadn't yet finished the bottom of the slide so it's just resting on boards.
