Concorde and FedEx PlaneOn display at the Udvar-Hazy center are many planes that are much too big to be displayed at the original Air and Space Museum on the National Mall, including this Air France Concorde. Also seen here is the first plane owned by Federal Express for delivering overnight packages.

West SideHere's a view of the side of the shed, from inside Bailey's run. Having the shed this close to the fence makes for some tricky work. We had hoped to side the wall before we set it up, but the way the walls are staggered didn't allow for this. At the time this picture was taken, we had one panel of siding to go on the front, and the partial panel left to go on the side you see here, as well as the gable ends, which also need to be framed out so there is a slight overhang.

Front ViewHere is the front of our home as it looked when we bought it. We've made quite a few changes: replacing the front entry and storm doors (the old one was Barbie Pink -- no kidding! If you click on the image to view the large one and zoom in, you can kind of tell), trimming back the overgrown foliage, removing the awnings, and adding green decorative shutters on all four windows. We also replaced the driveway, and widened it to the width of the rock in the picture above.

Cathy at the SummitCathy stands in the lookout tower on Harney Peak. The view, particularly of the adjacent Needles formations, made it well worth the six-mile climb.
