Rot problemAfter removing a lot of siding and sheathing, we found the rot extended all the way to the foundation, directly under the left side of the patio door.

Moved the TarpLater in the day, we had to repostition the tarp to account for the change in angle of the sun.

Bend in the BridgeOne very unique thing about this bridge is that there is a bend (turn) in the middle of it. This was to help with boats navigating the river, but must have made driving tricky. The bridge itself wasn't much wider than a modern traffic lane, but held two lanes of opposing traffic.

Shed Foundation with BaileyFraming itself for the foundation went quite smoothly, once we had the rim joists leveled and squared. In this picture, Cathy double-checks everything before we lay down the plywood on top, as Bailey looks on. The building is next to Bailey's outdoor run, but the run is plenty long so that it's not blocking much of his view.
