The Badlands National Park

As with last time, the Badlands was our first major stop (besides the Corn Palace, see the other album for that). And just like last time, it was strikingly beautiful and we took lots of pictures.

 DC Booth Fish Hachery Fish CarThis car was a reproduction of a "fish car", a rail car used to haul fish from the hachery to the lakes. Evidently all of the original ones had been destroyed, but this reproduction was a very fine job -- lots of incredibly good hand woodworking...
