The Badlands National Park

IMG_1465.JPG

As with last time, the Badlands was our first major stop (besides the Corn Palace, see the other album for that). And just like last time, it was strikingly beautiful and we took lots of pictures.

T-RexThe "new" T-Rex. This one's actually pretty cool -- he breaths smoke and 'fire' every 15 minutes or so and roars really loudly, always causing nearby kids to cry (not ours though!) Not sure when they put this in, but it has a very "Jurrasic Park"-like theming to it so it might be mid-90's as well.

Getting DarkWe stayed for the Laser show. The show was cool, in more ways than one -- it was COLD out and the adults didn't have sweatshirts.
