CDC 3800767 viewsThe Control Data Corp. 3800 was a 1960's-era computer which Cathy's dad was on the development team for. We were looking for this computer in the American History museum with the computers earlier in this page, but were surprised to find it at the Udvar-Hazy center. It was used for satellite tracking by the Air Force.

US Botanical Center Conservatory630 viewsThis picture is actually not from the zoo, but at the US Botanical Center Conservatory near the Capitol building. But, it seemed to fit in well with all the animal pictures. We only had about 45 minutes at the center, but it was a beautiful place and featured many lovely plants.

Udvar-Hazy Center: National Air and Space Museum627 viewsOne of the hilights of our trip was visiting the National Air and Space Museum's new Udvar-Hazy center. This museum just opened in December 2003, and is located near Dulles Airport. We weren't sure we'd have time to get there, but we were sure glad we did.
