Concorde and FedEx Plane824 viewsOn display at the Udvar-Hazy center are many planes that are much too big to be displayed at the original Air and Space Museum on the National Mall, including this Air France Concorde. Also seen here is the first plane owned by Federal Express for delivering overnight packages.

The White House812 viewsThe most prestigious address in the world -- the White House! We were unable to tour it due to security concerns, although both of us have toured it in the past. Not a bad pic, considering I quickly snapped it through the fence.

Not-so-great Picture758 viewsWe tried to get a picture of us with the Washington Monument in the background, but it didn't turn out well (we put it up here anyway). There are more views of the Washington Monument in our Landmarks gallery.

Udvar-Hazy Center: National Air and Space Museum751 viewsIt's hard to get a feel for just how big this museum is via pictures, but this one gives you an idea. This picture was taken from the center of the museum looking toward the commercial section. The hangar extended the same distance the other direction (behind the camera), and there is a third wing/hangar to the right of the camera housing the Space Hangar.

Chinese Arch749 viewsHere's the arch that lets you know you're in DC's Chinatown. Good thing they have it -- the area is so small, you might miss it otherwise.

Chinese Subway729 viewsWe spent part of an evening in Chinatown, and had some decent Chinese food. We did not eat at this "Chinese" Subway, however!
