Indy 500 Museum949 viewsInside the museum itself was car after car of winners of many of the 500 races. I'm not sure how they have collected all these -- some were replicas but most were the actual vehicles. In this picture, Tim sits in a replica which you were actually allowed to enter.

Jefferson Memorial925 viewsThe Jefferson Memorial, aside from being a tribute to a great man, is in one of the most scenic locations of all the memorials. Standing on the steps to the memorial, you can get a great panoramic view (see our Landmarks gallery for an example).

Reflecting Pool?876 viewsThis view looks toward the new WW II memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. For whatever reason, the reflecting pool was drained while we were there (like everything else while we were there, it was probably under construction. We have more memorial pictures in a separate gallery.

797 viewsA 4020 Diesel sat near the middle of the Pavilion. Behind it was a very large modern combine which you could climb inside.

Wind Cave796 viewsOne other attraction we went through was Wind Cave. Unfortunately due to the camera we brought into the cave acting up, we weren't able to get any pictures inside the cave. But we did get this one at the natural entrance. The ranger is demonstrating how the cave got its name -- wind sometimes blows out of the cave, and sometimes blows into the cave.
