Space Shuttle Enterprise574 viewsThe Space Hangar wasn't yet open to the public when we were there, but we could still see its star attraction -- the Space Shuttle Enterprise. This shuttle never flew into space, but was used for in-atmosphere testing and proof of concept. It is currently being restored, after which time the Space Hangar will open, along with many other Space artifacts.

Jewel Box574 viewsNear the zoo is a conservatory called the Jewel Box. It had recently been restored before we visited, so it looked great inside. The design of the building, which was built in the 1930's, was somewhat unique for a greenhouse in that all the glass panes are perpendicular to the ground. This was to help prevent hail damage.

Beer Control Central574 viewsControl Central at the Budweiser brewery: This is where the whole brewing process is monitored and controlled. The building which is the brew house is quite old, but obviously the equipment is quite modern.

Setting Up Camp574 viewsThis is a picture of two of our campsites. Our group had a total of four campsites, which were actually two "pairs" of sites. This campsite ended up being 'camp central' where we hung out most of the time, and also ate our meals. The other two sites were just beyond the trees in the background of this picture. Tim & Cathy shared the third tent from the left.
