WWII Memorial from Washington Monument616 viewsHere is the WW II memorial as seen from the top of the Washington Monument. It sits at the east side of the monument's reflecting pool, which for some reason was empty while we were visiting.

Tim & Farmall?616 viewsCathy didn't think she could talk Tim into posing with this International FarmAll, but he did it anyway (with the disclaimer that the Deere's are much cooler!)

Monkey See616 viewsThis guy seemed pretty photogenic as well. He's behind glass, which caused some reflections, but it's still a fun picture.

I don't wanna grow up...616 viewsTim, who refuses to grow up, started making a sand castle on the shores of the Ohio. Cathy soon joined in.

A Room with a View615 viewsOne of the many pictures we snapped from the top of the Gateway Arch.

|
Arch and Old Courthouse615 viewsA picture of the arch, framing the dome of the old courthouse which stands nearby. This is such an obvious location to take a picture that it has to be one of the most photographed spots in St. Louis.

William Plays a Martin615 viewsMaybe someday he'll own one, but for now he just got to play one for awhile.

More Butterflies614 viewsNot sure if I was fascinated with butterflies on this trip, or just trying out or schmancy new digital camera's Macro capability a lot...

|
Petra614 viewsSomehow, the average age of the crowd got noticably older when Petra took the stage. We overheard two teenagers talking -- one had never heard of Petra, and the other was trying to explain that Petra was one of the GRANDFATHERS of Christian rock!

Great Trains614 viewsCathy and William check out the "Great Trains" exhibit. William really loves "choo choo's", as he calls them...

Posing near the Arch613 viewsHere's a similar shot to the above, with a slightly tighter composition.
