5010 Diesel341 viewsThis 5010 Diesel is very similar to the 6030, but a bit smaller and older. It, too, looked beautiful and showroom-quality.

6030 Diesel338 viewsThis 6030 Diesel was one of the more beautifully restored tractors at the show. It looked as if it just came out of the showroom, and it was really shocking to see some of the "before" pictures of it.

First Model 730 Shipped330 viewsThe plaque reads: "This 730 gas row crop was the first 730 to be shipped from the John Deere Waterloo Works. It was part of a group of three tractors that were shipped to Madison, Wis., on July 31, 1958. The other two tractors were a 530 and a 630, making that grouping the first 30 series tractors to leave the factory. This 730 was found in a barn in northern Illinois in the spring of 2006. A 240-hour restoration was just completed by Jeff McManus. It is proudly owned by the Darick L. Franzen family.

Model 70 Hi-Crop310 viewsMost of the tractors were strictly "Don't touch", but this particular one actually had a sign that said "Please climb on the tractor"! William was more than happy to oblige.

Assembling Tractor293 viewsThroughout the show, a team of workers was assembling a newly-restored Model B tractor. Here they lift the hood/fuel tank into place.

William and Scale 5010 Diesel280 viewsWilliam sits on a very cool scale-model 5010 Diesel. The owner of this tractor created it, mainly from scratch/shop-built parts. He gave William the privilege of sitting on it.

William and Scale 5010 Diesel264 viewsWilliam felt this tractor was perfectly sized for him. The scale tractor had a small engine in it and actually worked.

Orange MI250 viewsThese MI's were produced for the Iowa Highway department, and therefore came from the factory in "Highway Orange". See the next picture for more information.
