| Great Smokey Mountains National Park, 2005 |

We spent about a day and a half in the National Park, which is the most attended National Park in the USA. The scenery was wonderful and we had a great time hiking and driving the scenery.

Cathy and William by a StreamOne of the first things we did in the park was drive a loop with some old farmsteads that are now on park property. Many of the farmsteads had hiking trails, and this particular one had a pretty stream with an old sawmill where we posed for a picture.

WaterfallWe saw a lot of great waterfalls. This particular one was about a 2 mile hike each way from the car. William rode in a backpack carrier on Tim's back.

State LineThe Tennessee/North Carolina state line is the highest point in the park.
