Pneumatic Mine Train EngineWe opted to do the Black Hills Mining Museum over the Homestake tour. The mining museum was very interesting, and had very detailed displays of how mining worked through the ages.

Homestake ParkSince we were there in 2002, shortly after the mine closed, they tore down a large portion of the plant and turned it into an interpretive park.
