The most prestigious address in the world -- the White House! We were unable to tour it due to security concerns, although both of us have toured it in the past. Not a bad pic, considering I quickly snapped it through the fence.

Presidential Box, Ford's TheaterThis is the Presidential Box at Ford's theater, which is where Lincoln was viewing the play [i]Our American Cousin[/i] when he was terminally shot.

Lincoln Art at Ford's TheaterIn the basement of the theater is a Lincoln museum, where this exhibit of Lincoln images was featured.

DC from Old Post Office PavilionWhat's actually a much better view than the Washington Monument is the Old Post Office Pavilion. It has much larger "windows" (actually there open screens), it isn't nearly as crowded, and the views are just as nice. This picture shows Pennsylvania Avenue looking toward the Capitol.
